The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;

It was just a few minutes ago that i got done with an amazing time of prayer and of seeking the Lord...

Before i go further, i must explain what's going in my life right now,

I will be moving in on campus @ ORU [Money for which i don' t have yet] on the first of August and start RA training and start a year which i believe will be the most amazing year and God is going to use me to Bless other guys on the floor and be blessed by other Men and Women of God on Campus
Got a lot of bills to be paid off and a lot of things i wanna do before summer ends...
Home work for summer school...
I am working hard everyday at my Job and loving [Working every day to be better and Excellent at what i do]
Just came back from an amazing time of refreshment and learning in KY and OH...
I have been praying and seeking the Lord with a new Zeal and Fire and wanting to grow closer to Him every day and wanting to reach many for Him.

with that said, there is a lot that concerns me as you can see, there is a lot that i think about during my days.

Today in the time of reading the words i was reading from the following passage,

Psalm 138:1-8 NKJV
1 I will praise You with my whole heart;
Before the gods I will sing praises to You.
2 I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD,
When they hear the words of Your mouth.
5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD,
For great is the glory of the LORD.
6 Though the LORD is on high,
Yet He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand
Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

As i read through this, i was praying to God to show me about from this,

and i believe started showing me and opening it to me what He was saying,

First of all, that He should always be center of my life and my worship. I wanna do so many things in life, i wanna be successful at work, school, in relationships, in finances etc. but are those things focus of my center.
Verse 1 from passage above really stood out to me, I will praise You with my whole heart;
More than anything in this world he desires praise with my whole heart and in every area and more than anything else.

Secondly, i hear God telling me through his word (verse 7 and 8) that Hes in control, i may feel like i am alone and i may feel like i have to worried about this or that. But He said, that i don' t have to, cuz He will stretch out His hand and "The LORD will perfect that which concerns me", and Hes still on the Throne and Hes able and Hes the one for me than who can be against me.

Another thing i believe God is really putting in my heart is to seek Him for He is God not because of any legalistic things or because He can do things...
He is reviving in my heart that I seek Him because i love Him with all my heart and more than any thing in this world..

Eventually, i know things will happen.. school will be done.. job will go in a good way, I am/will do things for the Lord, will build great relationships.. life will be lived but,

There is nothing (absolutely nothing) more important than loving and seeking Him and my relationship with my Lord....
So my prayer is that we never depart from our first Love that is Jesus Christ and He will perfect all that concerns us.

Back to Blogger with New Blog

Hey Guys,
I haven't written anything for a while but have been wanting to write about so many things and it gets a little confusing for readers if i write .Net Stuff (Work Stuff) and Personal Stuff for in most cases, two different audiences in one blog,

So i created a new blog, for just .Net development and Software Engineering,
http://dotnetengineering.blogspot.com/

Moreover, from now on all of my mission trips, personal life experiences and personal thoughts and ideas i will share on this current blog...

Guids and c#

OK So finally i thought i should write my first post, so there it goes,

Sometimes small problems end up taking way longer time that you would think,

I have been trying to set selected value of rad combo box to a value matching my DataBase value,

as follows,

DataSet ds = cs.GetUserID(new Guid(Session["CompanyID"].ToString()));
if (!(ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["UserID"].Equals(DBNull.Value)))
ddlContact.SelectedValue = ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["UserID"].ToString();

Did'nt realise that C# on the most part is case sensative and Guids are saved in CAPS in SQL Database, so this wasnt working...

==> Just Added .ToUpper() and it work as follows,

DataSet ds = cs.GetUserID(new Guid(Session["CompanyID"].ToString()));
if (!(ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["UserID"].Equals(DBNull.Value)))
ddlContact.SelectedValue = ds.Tables[0].Rows[0]["UserID"].ToString().ToUpper();

Thought i should share :)
